Quote of article: A Minneapolis man traveling for his honeymoon remains in intensive care in a Boston hospital after a crash with a suspected drunken driver took the life of his bride.

The crash occurred in New Hampshire on Saturday as the couple was getting ready to drive back to Minnesota following a 2-week honeymoon. Brian Preiss suffered internal injuries and injuries to his head, family said. According to New Hampshire State Police, Leah Fonda, of St. Paul, died from her injuries shortly after being taken to a local hospital.

"When you have memories of a spectacular day like that, those memories are with you forever, just like the memories of the shock and sadness you feel. They'll be with you forever," Ken Czech, Brian's Uncle, told KARE 11.

New Hampshire State Police say 43-year-old Matthew Tsopas was arrested and charged with negligent homicide, felony driving under the influence of alcohol and felony conduct after an accident (fleeing).  [Quote end]
